FORCE on FORCE: Winning Deadly Force Encounters
Everyone has shot a gun at paper targets, punching
holes and feeling good about themselves but remember paper doesn’t shoot
back. We use Airsoft handguns, shooting small plastic BBs, to test your
training, to refine your survival doctrine, thoughts, and philosophies.
Force-on-force training is the only activity that permits you to
actually be in a gunfight with real consequences.
Rigorous "safety checks" ensure no-live weapons are introduced into the
sterile training area. Protective masking and eye-protection ensures no
permanent injury.
In this environment you can now safely experience different situations
where real people have been attacked and injured.
We begin the day in exercises, letting you experience, likely for the
first time, someone attempting to "kill" you. You will learn about your
current training and beliefs--is it sufficient? Did you respond well
enough to keep him from harming you?
Then we go to the classroom, talking about tactics, defensible deadly
force response standards, Synergy’s "Progressive Stress Inoculation
Theory” (PSI) what happens in a life or death event and how to
prepare for it, how to get inside your assailants decision-making (OODA
Theory") and "Effective Combatives Problem-Solving" as well.
We move from there into Combatives Drills, where you are afforded an
opportunity to work the lessons you have just been presented. Once you
are confident, it is time to begin the force-on-force exercises.
These force-on-force exercises are a chance to work against a
live-opponent, using good tactics and sound judgment to initiate your
objectively reasonable and defensible response.
The goal of this class is to provide you with the experience of having
been physically and mentally stressed in real world situation so you’ll
be proper prepared if you are ever put to the test.
HOME PROTECTION FIREARMS COURSE
This class provides students with the
basic know how and attitude to safely and efficiently use a handgun to
protect oneself and ones family. The course focuses on teaching students
basic defensive shooting skills, strategies for home safety and
responding to a violent confrontation in your home, firearms and the
law, information on the law-abiding individual’s right to self defense,
how to choose a handgun for self-defense, and continued opportunities
for skill development.

HANDGUN COMBATIVES
COURSE
This unique handgun training teaches you to
put hits "on-target, on-time" in a gunfight. We concentrate on
real-life gunfights--up close, very personal, violent, short-lived
life-and-death conflicts.
All live-fire is predicated upon moving and hitting the Threat, not
simply shooting. You will conduct Live-fire exercises where you and
other shooters engage in physical combatives, safely performed,
effectively and realistically prepares you to engage a deadly threat in
the real world. This is the beginning of truly learning to fight with
your handgun.
All based upon SYNERGY's concepts of-- "Fight to Win, not just to
Survive."
And finally, like all of our seminars, we provide you the all important
understanding of "when" to press the trigger, as well as the points of
articulation you will need when the police arrive. Knowing what to say,
and what not to say, will make a huge difference in how you
experience the criminal justice system following a shooting.
This comprehensive course will change the way you fight with a handgun.
RIFLE COMBATIVES COURSE
This course provides anyone armed with a
rifle with the skills and tactics to effectively and reasonably respond
to a deadly threat at every range, from contact to extended ranges.
Like all SYNERGY training programs, this seminar takes a practical and
honest look at the needs of shooters when employing a firearm. This
program was developed with fighting in mind, and its effectiveness will
help keep you alive in the worst situations possible.
Sudden assault response is key to effectively and reasonably responding
with the rifle. In addition to live-fire drills with your live-fire
weapon, we provide reactive drills with "Airsoft" rifles. These drills
benefit anyone requiring reactive hitting skills, but where the
live-fire environment prevents these skills from being practiced due to
safety concerns. This Airsoft training system permits our
participants to fire "live" against live-opponents without the risks of
"live-fire" drills. We safely employ these realistic rifles in reaction
drills that amp up your ability to react and respond to the threats you
face today.

BASIC
PISTOL 101 COURSE
Low speed thorough
instruction for the beginner. We will teach you the legal aspects
of firearms ownership, carry, concealment, and deployment. You will have
plenty of range time to sharpen your skills and be confident with your
choice of weapons. If you have not yet purchased a weapon and have
questions, please attend the classroom portion of the course before
making a choice. We will answer any questions that you have and offer
you the personal attention that you need to choose the weapon that is
right for you.
This class will build a solid foundation for all your future firearms
needs
Course
Description: 1 full classroom day and
approximately four hours on the range. Must be 21 y/o or older.
Exceptions may be made for accompanied family members at the discretion
of the staff. Attendee must provide ear protection, eye protection, a
suitable holster, safe clothing, sensible closed toe footwear, a modern
pistol in safe working condition, and 50+ rounds of ammunition. If you
plan to purchase a handgun for this class, please attend the classroom
portion first, we can provide you with a loaner range weapon if needed.
Cost $175.00 per person and a $15.00 range fee.
